Sorry I haven't wrote anything in a while. But I will be keeping it updated now since I have a computer! Marlie is 5 months and 10 days old already!!! Marlie had a doctors appointment last Friday and she weighs 15lbs 4.5oz and she is 27 in long. Shes smiling all the time! She is slowly starting to laugh. She also rolls over from her back to her belly and sometimes from her belly to her back. Marlie pushes herself forward on her knees so I think she will be crawling very soon!

Marlie is still on Nestle GoodStart with Soy. She is drinking 6oz every 3 hours. She also sleeps through the night. Usually during the day she doesn't take long naps. I gave her bannanas and applesauce. She likes the applesause but I think the bannanas gave her a bellyache. Im going to try bannanas one more time to see if that actually did give her a bellyache. She eats her cereal before she goes to bed. So I don't know what else to write. I will update soon!

2 Months Old Already!!!

Well Marlie is 2 months and 10 days old already! She is doing great on her new formula. Bo, Hailee, Travis, and I were all sick the last week and Marlie caught it. On Friday the 21st she had a doctors appointment and she weighs 11lbs 3 oz and she is 23 inches long. She also had to get a shot in each of her legs. I almost cried with her! I hated it!!! So did she haha. She had a little fever after the shots. She had to get eye drops also because she had a blocked tear duct. Now she had a stuffy/runny nose and a little cough. Her eye has already gotten better. She is smiling a lot more now and she is also talking a little bit. Shes our little bundle of joy and we are having so much fun with her! Marlie's 1st Month

Marlie is 1 month and 11 days old already! Shes getting a little bigger. Not sure how much she weighs yet, her next doctors appointment is at the end of November so we will find out then. But you can tell how shes filling out more in her legs and cheeks. She looks like her mommy ;) ha ha! but of course she has some of daddy's features too. :)

I am on the WIC program and the formula she was on, Similac Advanced with Iron they don't give out anymore. They give out Nestle Good Start now and so I had to change it on her and she hated it! She was eating 4-6 oz on the similac and with the nestle she only ate 2-3 oz and she was puking and spitting up a lot more. So now I'm going back and forth with the doctors office and the WIC office about what kind of formula she can get. So they told me they are going to try her out on Isomil so I guess come Monday we are going to find out how that works.

But other than that nothing else has changed! so that's all for now..more pictures coming soon! :)

Marlie's Arrival Sept. 14, 2008

Marlie Marie Jennings was born on September 14, 2008 at 2:00pm. She weighed 6lbs 8oz and she was 18 3/4 long. I had her two weeks early because I had preeclampsia and the doctor was worried about my health. He had no problem delievering her early because she wasn't going to get any bigger anyway. I started having contractions on Friday September 12, 2008 and I had a doctors appointment that afternoon. So the doctor did some tests and told me to come back the next day. So the next day came and he did an exam and told me I was four cent. dialated. So then he told me to come back on Sunday and he would either induce me or I would have her naturally. Well at 9:00 Saturday night my contractions were 5 to 10 minutes apart so Mom and Dad drove me to the hospital and Bo met us there because he was at work. The nurse did an exam and I was 4 cent dialated this time. Then the doctor told me to stay over that night and he would see what was happening the next morning. Well about 11:00 Sunday morning he broke my water because I wasn't dialating anymore and my blood pressure was pretty high. I started pushing at 1:00pm and had her at 2:00pm Sunday afternoon. This was the day of my baby shower and obvisiously I wasn't there. But I did see how it was decorated...since I helped on Saturday evening. The gifts were waiting at home for me to open....I loved everything that I got from everyone.
